We have over 20 years of experience dedicated to bringing projects to life.
Our journey began in Europe in 2004, where we successfully completed numerous large-scale projects, including hotels, commercial buildings, and luxury residential properties. Now, based in Perth, Western Australia we have had the opportunity to be involved in many rewarding commercial and residential projects over the years.
As a boutique construction company, we ensure personalised service by working directly with our clients throughout the entire duration of a project guiding them through each stage.
Our comprehensive approach eliminates the need for multiple teams, as we handle every aspect of the project from start to finish. This simplifies communication, enhances efficiency, and maintains consistent quality throughout.

Jakub Friedel
Jakub Friedel is the Director of Sil Construction, leading the business across project management, site supervision, and carpentry delivery.
With over 20 years of industry experience spanning both Europe and Australia, Jakub brings a wealth of practical knowledge, craftsmanship, and construction expertise to every project. Beginning his career in Europe in 2004, he was involved in the successful delivery of large-scale hotels, commercial developments, and luxury residential projects before establishing Sil Construction in Perth, Western Australia.
Known for his strong eye for detail, efficient approach to construction management, and commitment to quality workmanship, Jakub works closely with clients throughout every stage of a project to ensure a smooth and personalised experience. As a boutique construction company, Sil Construction manages projects from start to finish, streamlining communication, improving efficiency, and maintaining consistent quality across all aspects of the build.
The Team
Sil Construction works alongside an established network of trusted electricians, plumbers, carpenters, cabinetmakers and specialist trades, carefully engaged based on their expertise, workmanship and reliability. The business is also supported by our Estimator, providing dedicated estimating across projects.
Managed and coordinated directly by Jakub Friedel, the wider project team is selected to align with the quality standards and efficient project delivery Sil Construction is known for.
This collaborative approach allows Sil Construction to assemble the right specialists for each project while maintaining strong oversight, clear communication and consistent attention to detail throughout the construction process.
Henry Chombeau
Originally from New Caledonia, Henry brings years of hands-on carpentry and construction experience from across the South Pacific to the Sil Construction team.
With a strong work ethic, practical building skills and a willing attitude, Henry is a welcome addition to the team as he continues his construction career here in Western Australia.
Outside of work, Henry enjoys fishing and exploring everything WA has to offer.
Administration Team
Working in partnership wit Sil Construction, Storm Dawson and Sienna Dorrington assist across administration, recruitment, project coordination, marketing, client communication and systems management.
With a strong focus on organisation, responsiveness, and behind-the-scenes support, Nova X Solutions works closely alongside the director to help ensure projects, processes, and communications continue to run efficiently and professionally.
